At the fair last weekend, I was reminded that perception rarely tells the full story. Ashlynn’s presence drew people in, shifted the energy around her, and quietly challenged how others see disability, age, and ability. What some misread as “younger,” I recognized as something far deeper—a light that invites everyone around her to show up more fully as themselves.
