Last night, my husband came home with chicken fingers for dinner. Ashlynn kept asking for some, but I told her no because she has always refused to eat meat. I’m not sure if it was the texture, because as a baby she ate it when I puréed it with vegetables, and she would eat mushy chicken nuggets, but that’s about it. On my Spring Break, my daughter was 2 1/2. Before that week I was home full time she had about 5-10 core words; however, she was just labeling things like mama, dada, and doggie.
